Hi all,

Has anyone got a copy of the six episodes of this TV drama from the early 90's?



Any help would be appreciated.

This has never been released and according to both the BBC and the Linda La Plante website, never will be.

I have a friend who has these on 2 DVDs (3 episodes on each) - fantastic quality.

Although he doesn't charge for them (because that would be ilegal) he asks for donations of £30 to cover his time and discs etc.

Let me know if you are interested - I know it seems expensive but his effort is worth the money.

I;ve also tried for ages to get Civvies on dvd. I can't believe they won't officially release it, when you see some of the trash that gets released. This series was powerful & moving & I can't wait to watch it again, Andy.

How weird is that, i do a search for Civvies and find everyone in the same boat as me, trying their best to track down a TV show that should be been put on time and time again, turned into a film, stuck on DVD and god knows what else, its awesome!



I remember watching this as a young soldier myself and always wondered why it never made another appearance as its quite a hard hitting bit of TV.



Not being technically minded, i have nothing to trade but if someone is willing to throw this on a DVD for me then i will of course make a donation :
