After being helped to name a programme I saw in the 80's on another thread:

I'm now looking to get hold of a copy.

It's called 'Glamour Night' and was part of a series called 'Summer Season'

If anyone can help I'd be most grateful.

I remember this very well. Most of the play was similar to that scene in Poor Cow, where a group of pervy photographers want to see more of Carol White and fellow barmaid Kate Williams. The rough-looking model in Glamour Night, who I think was from Yorkshire, was under so much pressure from the desperate men that she finally gave in and ended up totally nude. For some reason, they all stood there in stunned silence, as if they'd never seen a naked woman before. Even Rodney Bewes!

I remember that The Bill's John Salthouse was in it, possibly with a beard (as he had in Abigail's Party a few years earlier) and Philip Jackson, who at that time I still knew best from another BBC play, in which he played Jimmy Jewell's son. I still can't find out what that was but IMDb does at least have an entry for Glamour Night. The model was Charon Bourke:

That's brought back another memory - a young Reece Dinsdale as one of the photographers. That year he was John Thaw's son in Home to Roost.

I think this is the BBC play you are thinking of cornershop - "Play for Today" Pasmore (TV episode 1980) - IMDb

Thanks, billy. I added another L to Jimmy Jewel's name when seeking his Joint Vntures with Philip Jackson, which explains why nothing came up.

Odd that I should only remember those two from the play. What a great cast! Alison Steadman, Richard Wilson, Penelope Wilton, T.P. McKenna ... I've got to see this. But how many Play for Todays have appeared on DVD? Not optimistic. Would make a nice extra.
