Default Australia - help recording a show
THE STRETFORD WIVES

I missed this show when it appeared on UK television 4 or 5 years ago. Internet listings for Australia indicate that it will be broadcast on Monday / Tuesday:

For Sydney, Melbourne, Queensland, Northern Territories:
03 Sep 2007, 12:00 PM, 2:00 hours duration, channel NINE

For Western Australia, Southern Australia:
04 Sep 2007, 12:00 AM, 2:00 hours duration, channel NINE

** please note, one broadcast is 12:00 *AM*, the other is 12:00 *PM*

If any forum members in Australia would be willing to record this show onto a DVD for me, please send me a PM.

It was on over in the UK only 4 or 5 weeks ago !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you certain of this?

I use Digiguide to check UK programmes on a weekly basis, and have be doing so for many months. It is unlikely that I would have missed a listing 4 or 5 weeks ago.

Default STRETFORD not Stepford
Here in the UK they screened The STEPFORD Wives a few weeks ago, but not The STRETFORD Wives (BBC1, August 21st 2002, with Rita Tushingham). I always check the listings for Rita Tushingham programmes on UK telly because both me - and Robert (rjd0309) - are fans of her.
