Rachael - I hate to be negative, but I think your questionnaire needs reorganizing. Shouldn't you ask whether people know what a short film is before you ask if they enjoy them? And without you defining what you mean by a short film, I can't be sure we're even on the same page.
And why ask us to list websites where we can see short films if you've already made the list?

Not that I imagine you're very interested in my opinion since I fall into an age category that is clearly an 'everybody else' - 4 divisions under 30, then 'anyone else'. Cheers.

I wish you luck with your project because I'm sure that you are trying to gather useful data, but can you tighten this up a bit? Why does TV have a 'rarely' option instead of 'occasionally'? And what does 'all the time' mean here?
And is the question "What is your favourite -animation -short film" a multiple choice? I ask, because all the others are; do you want people to choose between them?

I'm not trying to be nasty, but this needs a bit more thought, doesn't it?

Additional thought (if you're still with me). At the risk of sounding patronizing, have you thought about what you want to get from your research? If you want to write/make a good film, then shouldn't some of your questionnaire ask about why people like the shorts they like? You could say something along the lines of "I never watch shorts because they are usually ...", "I only like shorts animations that are ..." "I hate short films that ... " "My favourite ever short was ... because it was so ...". Or actual questions, as opposed to finishing sentences.
With your questionnaire as is, the most you will get is an idea of how frequently people watch any film that is short and how often they watch TV. Will that help you enough?

    Good luck anyway.

I know a long film when I watch one........ And on balance I probably prefer the half hour Danger Man to the hour long ones, although in a Harry Hill situation I daresay it would be declared an honourable draw after 39 rounds.............

If you want to see a great British short film, try The Call (2005). Starring Louise Lombard. The plot summary at the IMDb (written by someone called Steve Crook) says:
A young man is visiting friends in North London. But they aren't in and on his way back he hears a mobile phone ringing under a hedge so he picks it up and answers it. After the initial surprise, the woman at the other end of the phone seems very nice and appears to be intent on seducing him. But this is a short story with a violent twist in the tale.

See the whole thing, just 12 minutes, on the producer's web site

    RE DRAFT OF QUESTIONNAIRE
Hi my name is Rachael, im currently studying a film and television production course at college and we have been given our brief for our final major project, I would appreciate it if people would answer my questionnaire as it would help me get the data needed to make a good final film, I have two ideas for my final brief which are described below! Thanx for your time :)

Idea 1- Animation, the animation will be a fisherman in a boat. The boat will be on the sand but the sand will be moving like the waves of the ocean so the audience think the boat is in the water. As the fisherman is catching the fish the angle of the camera will change so the audience see a birds eye view of the boat and they see a bigger fish about the eat the boat and fisherman. The next shot will be of the fisherman inside this fish's stomach on top of a bomb, as he moves around in the boat the bomb blows and the fisherman and the boat blow out of the fish and end up back on the sand. The fisherman will then disappear as the camera moves back to a birds eye view leaving the audience on a cliff hanger.

Idea 2- Short film, the short film idea I have, is taken from a short film I found on the site Vimeo. I thought about an idea where the film starts off in a baby's eyes opening for the first time to see there parents stood above them. It then shows other shots of the baby growing up. So the audience get to see what will happen in that baby's life before it actually happens.

Hi, thank you for your feedback after reading my questionnaire back I'd realised I had posted the wrong questionnaire on this site. I went back to the one I was supposed to post and kept your feed back in mind and made the changes you said to make. I appreciate you took the time to read this and gave me the feedback I needed I have posted my new questionnaire below and hope you think will take the time to read that one and if you have any feed back for me it will be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you.
    Rachael.

I can't answer. They both have pros and cons. If I must, I would say the animation because the fewer people involved the better, perhaps.

Might I suggest adding a short comments section?
E.g. many great short films have been made in the 100 years of cinema, most silent comedies like Chaplin or Laurel & Hardy were shorts, Tex Avery cartoons, great animators of the old Eastern Bloc (Czechoslovakia especially).
