You can quote a scene. It often says more than the words that people say in it.
If you really need to get other people's opinions then don't just read what they say and write it out. Comment on it. Explain why you think they're right or wrong.

Do you regret coming here yet?

I'm not a Bond fan, but I wonder if the films didn't establish a whole new stereotype of their own. I mean, British men as sex symbols!

There are quite a few Bond websites as has already been mentioned, mi6.com is quite a good one as it gives lots of info on publications available on Bond and you can read many of the period reviews of the Bond films over the years so that could possibly help you with your research....and they also have a forum similar to this dedicated to the subject of Bond. However, as already pointed out by Bats and Steve and others, there is no subsitute for watching the films and forming your own ideas and opinions as the basis of your essay, I can't think of a better way to do research than settling down with several Bond DVDs! Good luck with it.

If you have a look on the IMDb they have a user comments section for each Bond film. Dr.No has over 230 different comments. Try that for a start should give you a few quotes. Might also encourage you to watch a couple if not all of them. Oh yes! I don't think your cheating everyones got to start somewhere.

Danny - the simple answer is no, they do not, if that was the case, they would not enjoy the sucess they have done or have been able to reinvent themselves for a new audience.

I woul say they're dependent these days more than anything on the charisma of the leads. You should pick out several different films from three different eras and make some comparisons from there.

I would suggest From Russia With Love, Spy Who Loved Me, License To Kill and Tomorrow Never Dies, plus the latest one.
