representations of education in british film

hi everyone



im new to this so bear with me!! im a media studies leturer who is doing a research paper on representations of education within british film, and am trying to collate as much info as i can. ive done history boys, educating rita, fever pitch, and many more. im mainly looking for stuff to do with class (or inclusivity of education) and the teacher/parent/ friend debate of holistic education.



my main problem is finding good quotes to reference, ive trawled through imdb but they tend to be popular or humourus quotes non specific to teaching or education issues.



if anyone has a vault of knowledge in their head or otherwise, id really appreciate it as ive hit a brick wall at the moment!!

What about The Guinea Pig (1948) with young Dickie Attenborough and his missus, Sheila Sim? Although they're not playing husband and wife

Thank you Mr Crook. k don't know how old you are, but in case you didn't know "Please Sir" was an extremely popular classroom comedy TV series. As a kid I never used to miss it.

I was still at school while the TV series was on, but I'd left school by the time they did the film
