    Hi everyone.

I'm doing Critical Studies, and I chose Women in Film as my topic. My question is:

How has the representation of women in British romance-comedies changed over the past 20 years?

My main focus films are A Fish Called Wanda, Jack & Sarah, Bridget Jones Diary and Bridget Jones: The Edge Of Reason.

Any views, thoughts or useful information on this subject would be helpful and I will be grateful.

    Thank you!

You might find it helpful to glance down the thread titles in this section of the forum. I'm fairly sure this has been discussed before. For what it's worth, I wouldn't call Fish Called Wanda a romcom though it's a long time since I've seen it.
