You're welcome ian. I couldn't say who i really like best between Ian Ogilvy and Roger Moore. They are both great Simon Templar's. There were great Saints before these two, but none since Ogilvy alas. At least, that's my view.

I'm going to be watching Ian Ogilvy in at least one episode of Return Of The Saint and the film No Sex Please, We're British to celebrate his birthday. You probably already know this but Ian's own personal favourite episode is Duel In Venice, so that's one I'll be watching.

Thank you for liking a lot of my contributions on Brit Movie, i am glad that you (like me) think that Ian Ogilvy was a great Simon Templar in Return Of The Saint, Ian Ogilvy was the first Simon Templar i saw on Television (in the late 1970's), i have no wish to compare Ian Ogilvy's performance as Simon Templar to Roger Moore's performance as Simon Templar in the 1960's series, i like both Actors very much, they were both wonderful Simon Templar's, the other Simon Templar that i really like is George Sanders (who played The Saint in five films in the late 1930's - early 1940's), last night i watched an episode of Return Of The Saint, the episode was called Tower Bridge Is Falling Down, last week on Wednesday i went to London for a day out with two companions and one of the sights that we did visit was Tower Bridge (my favourite Bridge), it was only the second time that i have been up Tower Bridge, only one walkway was open, the view across London was great.
