Only seems to happen with this site. Every time i close my browser (firefox 3.5.6) and revisit britmovie, i have to log on again despite ticking 'remember me'.

    It's worked fine before today.

    Any ideas anyone?

    Thanks.

Probably settings on your browser (maybe clearing cookies on close) or some form of AV/anti-spyware/pop-up blocker.

Happening to me too. I'm using my usual strategy when technology plays up: I'm going to hope it goes away.

Yeah, that's what i thought, but a browser problem would presumably affect all logins? And an AV/anti-spyware/pop-up blocker would maybe block a site, but cause a need to login every time??

At least there seem to be a few in the same boat. 'Hope it goes away' might be the best strategy :-)

I just updated to Firefox 3,5 and now it's happening to me, seems pretty clear that it's a browser issue.

Try deleting the existing cookie. The forum software has occasional patches/updates so might work best with a fresh one.

It's a tricky one to diagnose as rarely do two people have the same Os/browser/add-ons.

Yep, that seems to have sorted it. Many thanks.
