The fairs of today aren't what they used to be, so sellers and attendees tell me. In the past these were the only places you could find many posters, stills, laserdiscs, whatever. Today, I think they're largely bootleg DVD affairs, with larger events such as Memorabilia at the NEC featuring stars (of sorts) selling autographed photos at outrageous prices.



I started attending the fairs in Euston and Westminster and the like, met some nice people and then started helping out a friend and even selling my own stuff. It was an enjoyable time.



You might be interested to know - seeing your avatar of the Doog - that they once had a fair a Molinuex...on the same day as a match!
