The trouble is that like the avatars, when you change your mood icon it changes it for all of your posts. It'd be better, if harder, if they stayed as they were when the message was posted. Then they'd show your mood for that post.

A few people have been caught out by that with the avatars by referring to the picture. Then when they change it later on, the earlier post doesn't make sense.

So like my avatar will stay constant, I think my mood will remain

I like the idea of the mood staying as it was when you made the post. One could look back at stuff and remember how you felt at the time. It might cheer us up if we're feeling less than 100% .... or depress us even more .
