Brilliant, Nath! I've been opening new windows for each quote and copy/pasting each. This way is so much easier and faster.

Multiquote takes a bit of working-out (well, it took me a while, anyway). I couldn't find anything about it on the Forum's "Help" section. Perhaps there should be a entry describing how it works.
Sorry to be a pest but I really do need to ask again how to do multiquote successfully, on the post I wish to multiquote I've clicked on the far right corner icon and then a tick appears, then I click on 'reply with quote', the post appears in the quick reply box, I go to do my sentences under the sentences of the person who posted, but it's still not working, I go to press submit reply and the box comes up 'you're message is to short, lengthen to ten characters, which tells me I haven't multiquoted properly, the sentences I wish to post will in italics as what has been responded to, I'm obviously doing something wrong when the post I wish to multiquote appears, help please!
Mark when you have clicked the posts you want to reply to click the Reply to Thread option...Which looks like this![]()
then click Go Advanced
You're not writing your messages inside the
s are you?
You're not writing your messages inside theI am Captain, but the thing is the sentences I wish to right under aren't outside the 'quotes', that's where I'm going wrong somehow, how do I get the sentences that a poster has written outside of the quote buffers and respond to individual sentences, it's driving me crazy but I'm determined to learn!s are you?
You have to write your message outside the quoted bit (the italics). Otherwise The System doesn't register it as a new message (and it looks confusing) . You can't really reply to individual sentences without adding extra [QUOTES] which gets complicatedbut you can cut a chunk out if it's not clear which sentence you're replying to
As the captain says Mark...you need to type outside the Quotes

Once again I think I'd like to say a big thank you to Captain Wagget and Jim, I think I now have the ability to multiquote (had a go on the Call the midwife thread), it's basically a case of putting in
boxes where you need to respond to a sentence, I recall when I first had a PC and was thrilled with this new world of opportunity and knowledge it took me about six hours to learn how to upload photos, as the old saying goes "if at first you don't suceeed, try try again".![]()
And I wonder how to divide a quote, when I want to comment point by point, or sentence by sentence ??![]()
Use the Reply With Quote link and then edit the part that you are quoting
Add
where you want the quoting to stop so that you can comment on that part
The add
where you want the quoted part to resume

Get the idea?
And I wonder how to divide a quote,
Use the Reply With Quote link and then edit the part that you are quoting
Add
where you want the quoting to stop so that you can comment on that part
The add
where you want the quoted part to resume
when I want to comment point by point, or sentence by sentence ??
You can also trim back the post that you are quoting to only leave the relevant part.
