You can't just expect the films to drop through your letterbox you know! Sometimes you have to make a bit of an effort And if that's what it takes to get a legit release of Dear Octopus...

There is a limit, besides, one gets so attached to the little things in one's life

    Hi Sgt Sunshine! :)

Yeah I'm pretty sure I spent more hours looking for certain videos on the Internet than I did while studying at the UA

Before the Internet gained household popularity, I spent an embarrassing amount of time at Northwestern's media center. That's where I found out about J Arthur Rank films: "What's with this gong before Black Narcissus?"

I always knew about the gong, it's at the start of so many films. It took me longer to realise that the films that impressed me the most and that affected me the most all started with an arrow hitting a target. They were all so different, different genres, different subjects, different styles.

I do find this site very useful in enlarging my collection. I know the stuff I like but I like to see what everyone else says is a good film then I will buy it, its only occasionally that I end up with something that I find utter rubbish that everyone raves about but on the whole i've found membership here has been hugely beneficial, so thanks to all for the reccomendations.
