Question Christmas competition

Up for grabs in this month’s Christmas competition is a nice selection of goodies to while away the hours during the New Year.

First prize is Steptoe & Son: Complete Box Set. 13 discs of Galton and Simpson’s classic comedy based around rag-and-bone men Albert and Harold.

Second prize is the interactive DVD The Greatest TV Trivia Quiz: 50 Years of ITV Entertaining The Nation. The DVD contains video clips, still images and text questions with 3 levels of gameplay.

Third prize is Hammer Horror Interactive DVD Game. Join Van Helsing on the quest to find Dracula, collect your protection and navigate your way through Vampire Territory. Contains clips of all the famous Hammer Vampire classics.

The first six names out of the hat also get the latest Britmovie mug. This competition is open to Established Members (3 post minimum) only and will close on December 31st.

To enter the prize draw, simply watch the Harry H. Corbett clip below and send a Private Message to webmaster containing the film title.

Good Luck!

Thanks to all who participated, despite suggestions the competition clip might be What a Crazy World, Crooks and Coronets and The Big Day, the correct answer was The Bargee.

The winner of the Steptoe and Son boxset is Starry-Eyed.
Second prize of the ITV interactive DVD goes to David Brent.
Third prize of the Hammer interactive DVD goes to Smudge.

A Britmovie mug also goes to BoobyTrap, Alex and Penfold.

Anyway, it was a complete coincidence that DB7 and myself ended up in the same hotel last weekend - and, when it turned out that I had the last room, what else was I supposed to do? My parents always brought me up to share........

Thanks, Marky B. I didn't remember the cake factory but, for some reason, the bottle-smashing scene is etched in my memory!
Also, it was the only film he ever made with Julia Foster who was at the end of the clip.

A great start to the New Year.

Steve has promised to deliver my prize - on the understanding that I supply him with the airfares.

Cheers

Dave.
