Not for everything, some of the items that I have in my own collection have come from analogue tapes like Sony U-matic, Betamax or Shibaden reel to reel recordings so have long since been left for many years alone. Once I have run them through Noise reduction, timebase and colour correction then they finally make it to DVD. I am not in the habbit of openly covering these recording or sending DVD copies out in huge amounts so you still need to keep an open mine about "Other having it too" as anyone who knows me will confirm !! Sad as i am i paid £60 for copies of dallas season 8/14 because i couldn't get them any where only up to season 8 has been released on dvd i thought i would never pay that for copies but i was desperate as i had watched all the series up to season 8 and was dying to know what was going to happen next. I know what your all saying Dallas but it is good. I was looking 2 title's recently and was asked for £25 for the 2 copies of the films i was looking i declined the offer of course but its the same old story again rip off merchants. You know who you are.

Live each day to the full because one day it will be your last.

Why even bother to make this post? It's like a childish 'na naa na naa na' chant. As I said 'most people', there's always the odd beaut.

Its finally out on bootleg - Jassy starring Margaret Lockwood. Considering it ain't on real release, the people are charging £20 each, and getting it.

I haven't seen a bootleg seller in a pub for years ... but there are loads at boot sales where they can be found around here. Average price for an old 'classic' is around £15. They will offer new titles for around £35.

In Nottingham, there has been troubles for years with DVD pirates sort of fighting each other for the income. The highest here for one is £5. The lowest is £2. People have their price and will staunchly defend being ripped off. By and large, in Notts its a dying thing.

We have one. He pulls up outside Tesco and will spend an hour or two flogging them from the boot of his car. They're a mixture of dvd-rips and cam jobs of cinema release. A fiver a throw.

I am amazed that people buy the boot sale stuff for the prices they charge. One guy sells old American films and you can get most of them from Amazon for £2.

I love the idea of people making their living selling bootleg Margaret Lockwood dvds in pubs. The spirit of Private Walker still lives!

There's a guy at work who claims he can get any film on dvd for a fiver. I asked him to get a copy of Last Man To Hang for me. He said "Nah, I only do proper films, Lock Stock, Kill Bill."

I'm still waiting for my Tom Conway film .....

The guy sells a lot more and have now gone one step further - convine with the landlord/landlady, just like at The Sportsman in Derbyshire. Before they packed it in they were making at least £500 a week.
