Britsh World War 2 movies 1939 - 1969

I collect British made World War 2 movies from 1939 to 1969, my research indicates that there are about 190 films in this category. I have about 120 and can access about 40 more but the remaining films are pretty elusive.

Has anyone else out there a similar obsession? If so we can probably swap movies to help each other out.

I would dearly love to complete 'the lot' before I depart this mortal coil! I am currently 60 but feeling about 85!

As you can gather I am also a Hancock nut + Dad's Army and One Foot in the Grave which are my favourite sitcoms although I am happy to concede the claims of Steptoe and Fawly towers to supremacy.

If you can recall any of the WWII history transmitted on the BBC (at least I think so) in the early 60s, I'd love to know. Most online searches terminate at "the world at war" voiced over by Ludo Kennedy, but there was quite a lot of semi-doco stuff put to air before this. The theme-tune of one has stuck in my mind for over 40 years.

I recall watching Churchills funeral barge going down the thames with the cranes all bowing, it was contemporary with this they screened a lot of the 'pathe' newsreels.
