Default Search Engine ... working?
Can one of the mods tell me if the search engine is working properly, I can't seem to get it to function. I've been typing up things and all I get is 'not found' - that can't be right because one of the things I am looking for is the thread on The Third Man in fav Brit films.

I've found it to be very iffy. It either finds nothing or includes everything!

I've just tried searching for The Third Man and it found nothing. However, searching for The Snow Goose, it turned up trumps.

Yes yesterday it was a bit hit and miss quite a few times it said I had to wait 30 seconds before attemting to search again even though I had left ir for 30 minutes or so.

Aye, I think it's somewhat dependent on the uniqueness of the search terms. The The Third Man only 'Third' will be searched for, and that's a very common word.

I found an 04/07 Third Man thread by searching for threads containing 'Welles'. Searching for 'Vienna' threw up a few too.
