Default Hello all.

Found this site whilst posting on The Sweeney and Minder forums.
I'm a great fan of '70's and 80's British TV and film and some of the modern stuff is pretty good aswell.
Looking forward to learning a lot more.

Default Greetings from the Bluegrass State!

Hello all!

Sending you greetings from an American cousin. I hale from good ole Kentucky, the land of fast horses, beautiful women, and fine sippin whiskey! Love British literature and film (I am a Hammer NUT, but actually "Zulu" has to be my favourite Brit film-- weird huh?) Anyway greeting to all and thanks for having me here!

Default belated introduction

It's only ten months since I registered after all. What does one say? 'Easily bored, fond of the absurd, enamoured of subversion. 'Seldom lost for words.

Default Introduction

Hi,

I'm an avid fan of good movies (mostly 30's, 40's 50's and 60's). My favourite all time British movie just has to be Carol Reed's 1949 classic "The Third Man". This remarkable and unforgettable movie has just about everything. I would say the finale is the best in movie history.

regards,

James

Default Hello there

Just wanted to introduce myself, Steve from Liverpool here. Been lurking for a while and thought I'd finally take the plunge and join. Favourite Brit films are Letter to Brezhnev (was an extra in pub scene) - like writer Frank Clarke's other two films as well: the much under rated Fruit Machine and Blonde Fist. Other favourites include Poor Cow, Scum and sister film Scrubbers and Tales From the Crypt - the Joan Collins story gave me the hee bee gee bees first time I saw it as a kid. Anyway, just saying hello.

Default Hallo...................

I currently reside in the good ole state of Georgia and can't wait for the 4th of November to get here to exercise my right to vote. I have 3 absolutely brilliant children who are grown and an absolutely brilliant canine as well (she talks) . Laughter is somewhat of a requirement in my house and I live for British TV.

I found this site after searching for a BBC production that is currently out of print,
Precious Bane. This production has been haunting me for years and I would like to view it again if possible. Please contact me with any leads you may have so I can obtain that goal. THANKS.
