"Five Golden Dragons" comes to mind. Christopher Lee and Dan Duryea must have phoned in their performances in that one and I laughed uproariously when a female character who had just been killed was obviously uncomfortable in her "death pose" and kept moving.

Sorry to see the old Avatar die the dust. Getting quite sentimental about it...! Not 100% taken with the new one!
Glad you've made contact with Ronnie though and look forward to getting all the answers to our questions. Jack Last edited by jack case; 05-12-2006 at 11:21 PM. |

Ady's computer EXPLODES !!
. . . . . . . well , not quite , but after suddenly going very "jerky" in the cursor moving department . I got a : " WARNING! - Delayed Write Failure H:$xx - windows was unable to save file . . . " , and then on trying to re-boot, NTLDR IS MISSING PRESS CTRL + ALT + DEL TO REBOOT. ARGGGH!! another win XP install day required. So , Ady will be "off-the-air" for a while again. Ady ( signing off from a colleague's PC ) ps - does anyone know where NTLDR goes a.w.o.l. to ? edit: SOLVED ! ( I hope ) Traced fault to a cheap SATA connector - fingers crossed. ChristineCB's photo reminded me. I loved the line years ago in a Jimmy Nail TV series - where he is having a steak meal with one of his low life friends from Newcastle. The latter is looking at an EXTREMELY rare steak on his plate suspiciously and utters the deathless line(pun intended) "A good vet would have this bugger back on its feet in no time" ![]() |

We do "take a cow" every so often - vets or no vets - but I end up doing almost as much milking as carving, if that's any consolation. Or when one of them tries to stomp my foot or crushes me into a fence, well, let's just say a sauvignon is a great Final Solution. ha ha. Now, however, we're deep into cheese season... yearlings are frisky in the cooler weather, utters too full for anything but machines, and our Yankee friends have shipped us a few boxes of their apples awaiting our cheddar returns.
Anyway... welcome aboard. Most everyone else is truly crazy. Last edited by ChristineCB; 06-12-2006 at 01:04 PM. |

Welcome, Withnail. Out of interest how do people come across this website?
I joined about two years ago after reading article about British film industry on BNP website and they had link to Britmovie. |
