HI,
Thanks for the reply, They were both actors. One starred in a film as a sculptor who encapsulated people for that special life like look. Of course as they should he gets his collar felt in the end.

NEW MEMBER ... I have just joined up while half watching "The Abominable Dr Phibes" on TV (again after 25 years) I'd forgotten how awful it was. Nearly as bad as a lot of the stuff that comes out of Hollywood now, so I try and watch as many British movies as I can. I don't usually watch anything that was made before I was born (1947), a bit dated like me! I like horror, my favourite "The Wicker Man" - 1973 original of course, can anyone suggest any others nearly as good? I find the Hammer Draculas & Frankenstein's a bit corny

Default Howdy folks

Hello there everyone.

Why on earth I chose this user name,I'm probably no more enlightened than you are about that.

I decided to register here after realising that,on the other couple of forums that I frequent,I am constantly droning on about British cinema, sit coms etc...

Anyway the real clincher to my joining was getting a google link to a thread on this site concerning the film "Live now pay later",a lost classic if ever there was one!!!

I've listed my fave Brit film as "Oh Lucky Man",that was just of the top of my head and I'm sure there are many more,I've seen and appreciated hundreds of 'em but can't wait to be enlightened further.

Cheers folks.

Thumbs up Hi, I'm Cath

Hi, I'm Cath and I just joined the Forum.

I'm new at this -- never posted to a forum of any kind before -- and I'm in the USA.

Love lots of Old British Films. I used to watch them on TV with my mom when I was a kid.

I particularly like the '30's & 40's and I collect movies -- British and otherwise.

This looks like fun!
