Hi, Anarchic Rooster here. This is my first time and I'm looking forward to being part of what looks like an interesting forum. Maybe I should start off by asking where one might get that topical film about Canterbury during the war? And what's the rave about the Flaxton Boys?

Hi!, my name is Mark and I hail from Canvey Island in Essex, my favourite era for British films is late 40's, 50's/early 60's.......I could watch them for hours!......some of my faves are Robbery, Hell is a City, Peeping Tom, Woman in a Dressing gown (a fine drama) It always rains on Sunday, This Happy Breed, Brief Encounter, A kind of loving, Saturday Night Sunday morning (another masterpiece), and many, many more Movies of the era with the likes of Stanley Baker, Lawrence Harvey, Vanda Godsell, Thora Hird, Barbara Shelley, Shirley Anne Field in them.
I'm also a Music fan too, again mainly Artistes of yesteryear such as Matt Monro, Dusty Springfield, Petula Clark, the Beatles, Maria Callas, Diana Ross, etc; Looks like I'm going to be at Home here! |
