Hi, I have found this very confusing .. however I am a new recruit and am looking forward to searching for films and hopefully helping others. I have always loved British films. I'm an Aussie but spent my childhood watching British movies.
Hope I can be of service to someone sometime.

Hello and welcome Judy,
What do you find confusing? Life in general or anything in particular?

Steve

Hi, Am trying to stick to the rules by introducing myself, but am a little unsure that I'm in the right place so will be brief for the time being. Came across this site while trying to locate a film for my mum. Looks like there are plenty of people with useful information but will refrain from asking any questions until I've notched up my 3 entries. looking forward to being part of the community.
Tenfour

hi
it looks a if I cannot contact any individual members with my request until I've had 3 posts.

And I'm still not certain I'm in the right place for introductions.

hi
I'm just trying to notch up my 3 posts as am trying to locate a copy of a film for my mother.
Have spotted someone on the site with a copy but cannot contact them until I've had 3 post.

Hearing the name Fagin always reminds me of a poor Christmas.

Enjoy the forum.

Funny because my wife nicknamed me Fagin at xmas....

Aitch,

Hello....one film you don't seem to have that is available is a wonderful Danish silent called Klovnen, or The Golden Clown. It's a fantastic film, set both in a rural travelling circus, and a cabaret-style circus in Paris. Beautifully shot, and gripping....highly recommended. Available here.. Cinematekets Bog- & Videohandel ..titles in English and Danish, by the way

Bit of a Bay Window, what??

What about Two Clowns (1906)
Yes, that's right, 1906! But it's in colour!
Directed by G.A. Smith for the Natural Color Kinematograph Company
It's actually printed as black and white but is designed to be projected through alternate red and green filters at 32fps.

The colour flickers a bit, but they are real clowns

so this is number 2.
Don't just post any old rubbish here. Sure that'll let you make your request, but you're much more likely to get a response if you've actually taken part in a discussion in the forum.

Have a look around, I'm sure there's something that you could make a contribution to

Hi

Well I am pretty obsessed with the Victorian era, I love any Victorian setting on film, I always enjoy watching the nomad, the poor outcasts from that era , I think they are the most interesting characters. I find the upper class characters have a lot less personality. My favorite film of all time is Oliver the musical, so I thought Fagins girl was a persona that suited me for this site, obviously I couldnt be one of Fagins boys as I`m female, and I`m no imposter that way

And oh yeah, I am definately poor, especially at Christmas

Fagins girl xx

We`re changin` lodggggggggings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't be such an ninny, Tenfour... there's already by far enough ninnies on here already Me, I'm trying to get away, but I'm too much of a ninny to work out how to do so

Your tag on this forum reminds me of 'Star Trek: The Next Generation'.
