I am most pleased to be a supporter of such an undervalued industry.

I picked my favourite film as The Italian Job but really there are so many to choose from that I suspect any choice would be a 'cop out'.

Good wishes to all fellow subscribers
Hello and welcome Nethcil.

The main list of topics includes one which says:
General Discussion, Introductions and Feedback
For general discussion, new members to introduce themselves, off-topic chat and any concerns you would like the webmaster to address.
(my emphasis)

And that's where this message is.
Yes, rather than everyone starting their own introduction thread we find it easier to have everyone put them all in the one thread.

Yes, that's right, 1906! But it's in colour!
Directed by G.A. Smith for the Natural Color Kinematograph Company
It's actually printed as black and white but is designed to be projected through alternate red and green filters at 32fps.

The colour flickers a bit, but they are real clowns

Thanks Steve, very interesting, I have La Revue des revues that is also an early colour film as I can see at The Powell & Pressburger Pages (I found you looking for the film). And you have seen the film three days ago! Well I missed it.

Thanks

Hey people! I'm Bromhead.. 48 year old male from East London..

Well I've just been pointed in this direction by fellow newbie 'ProfMarcus'.(whom i know from another film forum). There's an awful lot to catch up on but I'll do my best to read everything so I don't repeat stuff already posted. Still finding my way around the forum at present.

Look forward to chatting with you all on the boards

Default Why I like the British

Humour in Australia and Britain are quite similar. While I like some of the american humour it is slick and well filmed I like humour which is found on several levels. British humour like the office, black adder and the older shows make you laugh on a number of levels.

Default New member info

My name is teejay, I am a new member to this site and I just wanted to say HI. I tried to submit a new member information note before but I'm new to this and I didn't know if it went through or not. I didn't see it posted. I do have questions about some movies and I hope someone will have answers for me or be able to help me.

Thank You
