Default Lost Jonathan Kelly

Hello,
I came across this site and I'm hoping somebody might be able to help me. I have been trying to discover any surviving footage of Jonathan Kelly/Jonathan Ledingham who was a popular recording artist in the late 60's early 70's. The BBC. RTE and German TV all inform me that they have detroyed all the footage they had. Jonathan Appeared on the "Old Grey Whistle Test" twice. TOTP several times, various in concert programmes such as the RTE show "The Music Makers" The Dana show and many others. He also appeared in an episode of Spike Milligan's "Q" series. If anyone knows of any surviving footage of Jonathan I would love to hear from them as I would like to be able to present it to Jonathan and his family.
Kindest regards
Gerald

I am trying to trace the main credits - director, writer, director of photography, art director, composer, editor - of a short film, a ghost story, called POSSESSION. The cast included Caroline Langrishes, who did not answer my letter, and Stan Stennett, who did. He thinks it supported the most recent remake of THE POSTMAN ALWAYS RINGS TWICE. The BFI have no trace of it. Any information?

Default British films of the 30s

Hello fellow members: don't quite know if this the correct way to introduce myself to other members, but if it is, Hello. I have been a film editor for many years and am particularly interested in collecting dvd's of Brit films of the 30s. I recently came across CHU CHIN CHOW on an American website (VCI) and have many other examples, including THE CLAIRVOYANT that was put out in America under a different title. Get in touch if you have a similar collection. J

Default Film Noir Trader New To Britmovie

I'm delighted to have been directed to 'Britmovie' and embarrassed for not having found it sooner.

I'm an active collector/ trader of film noir and 'noir-stained' dramas - classic, post, and neo.

I have several thousand related titles, 500-or-more of which are UK productions.

It's the latter which has been getting most of my attention lately, particularly with Andrew Spicer's book ' European Film Noir' out last Fall and Mike Keaney's 'British Film Noir Guide' about to be published in the US.

I'll want to jump in on the trading forums here but I think I'm blocked until I post at least an initial message - which I'm certainly happy to do.

'Cheers',

Night Editor

James, yes, I know you from the Board.

I've been on it myself for several years - under my own name (I can PM you on that).

Thanks very much for the reply. I'm looking forward to getting going here. Great site!

Evenin'all.

Straff here. I discovered this treasure-trove courtesy of The Sweeney Lounge , so at least one poster ('Aitch') is familiar to me.
I'm a child of the 60s, so I grew up in black and white. I foresee spending an inordinate amount of time on here. When I've found my feet I'll contribute and help if I can. In the meantime, I'm off to buy the DVDs I've already discovered here. This could prove expensive
