That's not the best likeness of poor Mr Conway. He looks rat-arsed (apparently not an unknown situation for him in real life)!

.... I thought that after I posted the pic. Poor old Tom, he did indeed crave the booze. I reckon that if he hadn't been so fond of the stuff he'd have been more popular than brother George.

We relish other forms of challenge as well

The Challenge (1938)
Starring Robert Douglas & Luis Trenker, written by Emeric Pressburger. A drama about the race to conquer the Matterhorn in 1865.

Welcome too, so long as you do not crack any non-PC jokes like the One Legged Jockey (from Some Like it Hot) or you will be in bother

Welcome Moonfleet and if you are in France I did so much used to like your French films of the 1950s - 1960s era.
I always thought at that time that the French studios were good whilst our German friends made hopeless films But, I might be prejudiced.

Yes I loved those old French films where a couple would be seated in a Citroen sharing a cigarette, it would be a darkened Paris street and raining. The fellow would be saying 200 words and the dubbing would say 'do you think Phillip suspects?
