I think this breakaway thread was pertaining to Carmel's incorrect thought, that at 41, she was getting too old to be photographed. Batman & others were offering evidence by naming actresses who still look good no matter their age. With no disrespect to the Dame, I don't think Liz has aged well.

Unfortunately time and frequent ill health have not been kind to the lovely Liz, but she sure is still one sassy lady ....



.... this picture was taken in 1987 when Liz was 55 and she looks good !!!!

... re Amanda Redman, apparently she scalded herself with some boiling soup when a teenager. More power to her for not feeling the need to hide it.
