I seems to be logged in
I must be otherwise I would nt be writing here

it says
you can reply to threads
you can post replies

you cannot post attachments


can someone explain ?

is it a general ban or is it just me ?

PICS OF COURSE

theres never been any problem in
the past
theres alwaays been a 3 pic limit on posting
whats the big deal ?

What does it say when you try to add pictures?

Can you see this icon above the box where you enter the message?
If it's there, what happens when you click on it?

Where are you hosting your pictures? You'll need to use a service like Imageshack or Photobucket.

I TRIED to post 3 pics
but they came up as red crosses

but why should it say

you CAN reply to posts etc

then
you CANNOT post attachments ?

thats before I ve even tried !

I ve posted pics before in the past... no probs

it looks like the mods have changed a setting

somewhere !

I think what he means is that Britmovie used to host images and now it does not. That feature has been gone for quite some time now.

no I posted the code from image venue in
the normal way and 3 red dots appeared

but that is irrellevent when
I scroll down and see the posting rules
and it says

you may not post attachments



it is the settings that are stopping me posting
only the mods can change that

It says that for everyone. I think you are confusing an attachment (a file uploaded to the forum server) with a posted link. Image venue links are not 'attachments'

Often they appear to 'work' because the image is in your browser cache.

An attachmeent is a file that is uploaded direct to the forum server via an upload feature. (this is disabled)

where you can upload a pic direct to the forum

why did you end that facility ?
