I have just discovered that the actor Alan Haines died in the first half of this year. An obituary appears in a magazine of his local residents association. His wife Dorit Wells, an Austrian born actress who appeared in the Ealing Studios film The Divided Heart directed by Charles Crichton, died last year. They had been married since 1952.
