    I recently saw the actor Ralph Nossek in an episode of Steptoe and Son, and looking online found that he had died on 5th December 2011. The announcement was in The Times on 12/12/11:

    Although it doesn't say it's Ralph the actor it really can't be anybody else. Ralph would have been in his 89th year as we know that he was born in London in Sept. 1923:

    He was excellent as Bert Challoner, the former comic turned agent, in Trevor Griffiths Play For Today adaption of Comedians (BBC 1979).
