Geoffrey Toone, who starred in Norman Lee's "North Sea Patrol" (1939), Maurice Elvey's "Sword of Honour" (1938) with Sally Gray for Butchers Films and with Flora Robson and Robert Newton In "Poison Pen" (1940) and later as a character actor in "The King and I" (1956) and "Dr Crippen" (1963), died JUne 1st aged 94.

Sad news. But at 94, he certainly had a good run. I remember him in Terror of the Tongs (1961) and I'm sure he played Sexton Blake at one time. At least, I have a Sexton Blake paperback from 1961 entitled "Pursuit to Algeria" with his picture on the front.
