Default Sex Pistols To Reform

Okay, get your safety pins ready.

Punk legends The Sex Pistols have announced a one off gig in November to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their 'Never Mind The Bollocks' album. (Has it really been that long? )

The lads will play London's Brixton Academy on November 8th.

Does anyone on the forum ever remember going to a live Pistols concert? Most importantly - were you gobbed on?

Dave.

No Thank God! Why must these people try and catch something that died way back. They had their fleeting fame, leave it and don't be greedy. Not something to be very proud of is it. "Hey Muvver Johnny gobbed all over me face! Good init!"

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR...YOU MAY GET IT!

Lots of phlegm at a Stranglers concert I went to once (I was front row - crushed against the stage). I recall the tall miserable Strangler got so fed up, he lifted his microphone stand at one point and stabbed one of the tripod feet viciously into the forehead of a chap to my left. I think he knocked him out. The bloke went down anyhow and I didn't see him again.

Enough to make you spit..........

I saw Eddie and The Hot Rods at Hatfield Poly and the crowd moved on to throwing beer............. finished the gig slipping all over the place and paddling in a quarter inch of lager................

.....You couldn't hear it, if they were shooting at me with howitzers!

Siouxsie and The Banshees...a better class of punk, definitely.....and The Damned, and The Clash later on. The Damned were the best of them, live at least. The Clash had their moments but were overrated IMHO.

Bit of a Bay Window, what??

Siouxsie and The Banshees - fantastic! I liked some of the 'one hit wonders' as well like The Adverts and The Ruts.

Bats.

Siouxsie's at the Roundhouse that week (another expensive gig) - but the night before, The Stranglers do the Roundhouse - 30 years to the day they last played there:

I would have thought that a sex pistols reunion was a bit awkward so long as Sid Vicious insists on being dead.

That didn't stop Errol Flynn taking John Barrymore to his Barrymore's own wake! Allegedly.
