R.I.P. Gary Moore sad loss xxx
Sad news indeed.
Saw him perform a few times over the years and at the High Voltage Festival last year.
Howse
I go back to the 60's when Gary was in a band called Platform 3. An Exceptionally talented guitarist, who will be missed by many. R.I.P.
Saw him at Donington and Milton Keynes Bowl and the less grand setting of Blackbur King Georges Hall. Always a great performer and one of the best puller of the 'solo face' I've ever seen.
Sad to hear he's gone but I'm sure Phil Lynott will be looking after him.
RIP Gary.
So very sad to hear this....
I saw Gary Moore with Thin Lizzy when they toured out here in 1978. They were sublime!
Here's a sample of what I heard...

Like so many I got to know Gary through that great hit 'Still Got The Blues' over here in Holland.
But I also got to know his great guitar work through his collaboration with Joe Brown's wife Vicki, her album 'Lady of Time', featuring Joe, Sam and also Gary Moore.
I was only 17 at the time and only later I found out about his back catalogue.
Rest in peace, Gary.![]()
More..........
I may have missed something in the obituaries, but what did he actually die of?
Seems it may have been a Heart Attack Rowden
