Hi Kelp, if you're into Movie locations there's always the Alleyway and Newsagent shop used in the Movie 'Peeping Tom', it's only a very short walk north of Soho Square onto Rathbone Street for Newman Passage, there's some pics on the 'Peeping Tom' thread, plus it'll be dark so you'll get the atmosphere!
There's also a Movie-buff shop in Brewer Street, Soho, can't think of the name of the Store off the top of my head but it's easy to find. The Virgin and HMV Megastores in Oxford Street are worth a look......lot's of rarities in CD and Film. The free British Museum is not far to walk from Soho, though I'm unsure of the closing time there. I'd give Carnaby Street a miss, there's hardly any 60's atmosphere there now, just a load of expensive Boutiques! If you're peckish there's a couple of 'Garfunkels' Restaurants along Tottenham Court Road, good and reasonably priced food, their website will have the exact locations. Hope I've been of some help! |
