Childhood toys - Britmovie

Following the sad passing of Evel Knievel yesterday it dawned on me that my abiding memory wasn't his stunts but the Evel Knieval Stunt Cycle, in fact I think I had the toy before seeing him in action. (then I progressed to real stunts with a wooden plank and Raleigh Grifter

)

So what was your favourite childhood toy?

My favourite uniform was the WW2 German soldier.

I used to have the Action Man tank, the tracks didn't last long as I recall.

When I was 7 years old, this was my favourite toy:

....then, when I was 15, I decided I'd outgrown it and moved up a notch!

that succinct comment really made me laugh Carmel! As boys get older we just replace our childhood toys with more expensive toys, cars, boats, planes, tecno stuff etc, but all you wise ladies already know that!
