Why is next week's climate change summit held in Hawaii,a group of islands in the middle of the Pacific? How much carbon footprint is going to be created taking delegates out there? Or am I missing something?

I am aware of the amount of crap we put into the atmosphere .... but isn't climate change a natural phenomenon? I mean, in the history of the planet we've had more than one ice age and several periods of extreme heat. Couldn't what we're experiencing now possibly be the next stage in the evolution of of the planet. I have read a lot of 'climate change' propaganda and am not convinced it's all our fault. Facts and figures get thrown at us by both sides in the debate and are equally convincing, depending on your point of view.

I agree,Bats. So these delegates who are trying to warn us about the damage WE are doing to the planet,fly off to the middle of the Pacific. Hypocrisy!

Does it matter whether we are causing Global Warming or not? The human race is still nackered, whoever or whatever is causing it.

The campaigners are so misguided. The Planet don't need saving. It's 'seen' it all before and will doubtless see it all again.
