Default New Year's Resolutions 2008

Has anyone made any New Year's resolutions, and if so would they care to share them with us and rate their chances of success?

2008 hasn't started well, I barely realised the time had slipped passed midnight as I lay in bed comotose with the 'flu watching the latest 24 series on DVD. Mrs samkydd brought me another Lemsip laced with honey rum, and after gulping it down like someone in Ice Cold in Alex, I slipped slowly into that twilight world where the sound of the TV enters your subconscious and you feel yourself having a conversation with Jack Bauer along the lines of "Shut the f*** up I don't work for CTU!"

In the morning I awoke with a throat as dry as a Temperence Society knees-up, and crawled down the wooden hill to find cold liquid in the 'fridge, gulping down the remains of a bottle of Californian rose because it was nicely chilled. A steaming mug of tea followed, gulping it down sitting in the garden wondering why I only ever see one Magpie at a time these days!

Y2K seems like a few short months ago and now we're nearly at the end of the decade. It's true what they say, the older you get the faster time passes you by, youth is wasted on the young, and there's sod all we can do about it! Ho hum!

My sole resolution is hardly New Year as I made it last month - I will take positive steps in the future to avoid people/situations whom/which I know shall cause me unnecessary stress.

I suppose I'll have to look into signing on if I am going to be ultimately successful in this...

My resolution is to keep to the resolutions I have made in the past - if I can remember them.

My new year's resolution is probobly the same as about 99.9% of women on this planet. To go on a diet & join a gym. Chances of success, 1/10!

To drink less beer and to chase more women.

At my age though, I probably wouldn't know what to do with the one's I caught.

To get in touch with more old friends more often, you never know how long they are going to be around for.
