The Tyne Brodge reminds me of another great institution,Newcastle Brown Ale (for a limited period,it has the Angel Of The North on its label). No longer brewed in Newcastle,it is now brewed in Gateshead and bottled in Tadcaster, where it is distributed no longer in red crates, but cardboard and plastic.

'The Archers'. The longest running soap in history. Although true 'Archers' fan refuse to demean it by referring to it as a "soap".
