Driving through Milton Keynes makes you appreciate anywhere else a lot more, even a devastated war zone with shells still falling

milton keynes would only need the odd small change to improve it ,a few cluster bombs dropping on the place for example

If you think Milton Keynes is bad then try the new town of Cumbernauld near Glasgow. Built in the late fifties to house the overspill from the overcrowded gorbals tenements, there is bleak...and then there is bleak and this place is pretty grim. There has been various campaigns and plans to demolish the whole town centre of Cumbernauld and start again. It's one claim to fame is that "Gregory's Girl" was filmed there and I think Bill Forsythe was looking for a cold featureless town to set his story!

Ah, Borough Market, one of my favourites. Not just for the veggies but it also has some great butchers and fishmongers and of course Neals Yard dairy and their superb range of cheeses
