I'm across the pond now, so I'm not up to the minute on whats available in Blighty. As a lad I my old man used to send me to the sweet shop for American Hard Gums, sold by the quarter. I used to be a fan of Caramac, does it still exist ? Also I used to wonder why a Tiffin bar was so expensive, always beyond my price range.

When I was a kid in the UK I enjoyed Coffee Crisp bars, but they disappeared.
They're available in Canada now. I'm amazed that things like Topics and Milky Way bars aren't here, while Mars and Snickers (Marathons) are. No Picnic bars either...yet there are plenty that aren't in the UK |

Hehe was mee haha. Aztec yes, I used to eat lots of them, were far nicer than Mars Bars, I remember a advert that was banned, feat human sacrifice on altar, as they were stabbed, blood filled up the aztec logo on altar haha.Sweet cigarettes have been renamed Candy Sticks by PC brigade, and yes remember Sweet tobacco.Others I remember are Blobs which were Strawberry and cream flavour, Toffee Apple etc, were also called Secret Agents at one point, I still have a badge. Not sure about Caramac, I loved those.Pink Panther chocolate is another, and Rhumba bars.

Yes Iv`e bought a couple of items of them as well, for the wifes birthday I got her some Bassetti liquorice sticks( we used to call them Penny Spanish for some reason when we were kids) and also some crystal to dip them in, she was over the moon. Anyone else have these when they were young.

I remember 'Sweet Cigarettes' and pretending they were 'real' ones!
The Choc bar of yesteryear I miss most of all is 'Frys five centres', in it's red and white wrapper and different colours of fondant inside the Chocolate I can't understand why Fry's ceased production, the Chocolate cream is still available and is the same shape of bar, maybe it was to expensive to colour the fondant five different ways?

Twelve Centres Frances?!!
.........now you mention it, it does ring a little bell, was it the same shape as the Cadbury dairy milk bar (little bricks is the best way I can describe it!) but with different colour fondants in the 'bricks'?
