ok now think about this one I have asked many people about these old sweets, they were called Converstaton Lozengers, had writing on them with romantic meanngs, Love hearts copied them but no one seems to remember, years ago I visited York museum and a shop there still made them , they were like chalky , in pink, white, lemon, and brown with words like , be mine, please someone remember them. sold by the quarter pound or half ounce.

right heres one more up to date from the 70s another one no one seems to remember ,Stroudles, made by Cadburys, in a packet green shaped like an apple, and had apple covered in chocolate they were brilliant, didnt last long though.

I read somehwere that Opal Fruits are making a comeback for a limited period. Ten years ago their name was dropped in favour of Starburst. Can we have Marathon back?
