Normally, yes. But it was a bit nippy today if you weren't in the sunshine - or indoors

It was a positively balmy spring morning....we aren't all soft city-folk down South, you know, Fell....bit nippy..!!!...Pah!

Yes, in the height of the summer here on the south coast some of the old ladies only have to wear the one overcoat!

Yes, how I remember my childhood days swimming in The North Sea off Weybourne and Sheringham. You'd leave your stuff on "the stuns" (pebble beaches) and take the plunge, and within just a couple of minutes the current would have swept you two hundred yards further down the coast! Red Flag days were best when the waves would pick you up, roll you upside down and throw you on to the beach like a hammer-thrower tossing a dead seal. "Kids don't know they're born these days!".
