Dinah Washington , Ella fitzgerald, Satchmo ,Duke ellington , etc etc , I love my Blues and Jazz and would love to have been sat in any dingy speakeasy ,or downtown basement club ,watching these legends ply their trade through a smoky haze
If you like Jazz you may like to listen to Clare Teals "JAZZ DIVAS " Via the Radio 2 listen again service ,this friday was Dinah Washington I reccomend this wholeheartedly ,Classic

It's at Blickling Hall (location for The Wicked Lady) .... about 12 miles away. I only heard about this yesterday so I don't know the date. If I can I may just give it a whirl!
