Default Movie-Posters in London

Hi everyone!

I'm new to this forum, I wondered if anyone can give me some advice:

I travel to London in May, and I am looking for some good adresses to buy old (pre80) and rare British movie-posters.
Here in Vienna, you do not really find such things

Are there some adresses you could tell me where I could try my luck?

Thanks in advance!

I have been told this is a good place to get posters ...

The Poster Shop
Whiteleys of Bayswater
151 Queensway
Bayswater
London

... there are lots of online poster sellers selling the sort of thing you are looking for including a lot original stuff available on ebay.

Don't miss out on a chance to win a rare film in Bat-Quiz 13 closing date - 31/8/8.

There used to be movie poster sales at Camden market - but I don't know if the fire has stopped those. They weren't exactly a regular event, they seemed to just happen whenever they got enough people together who wanted to sell some.

But as Batman said, there are probably more places selling them online now. Especially given the price of retail space in London.

It'd be worth checking out the places mentioned, but there are a lot of other things to do and see in London

Alfie's Antiques in Church Street, Marylebone is good for theatre memorabilia though I can't actually remember offhand whether there is much film stuff. If you happen to be in the area there are a couple of good second-hand bookshops in Bell Street just round the corner
