The regime was a success for Stalin

And remember that Marx expected Communism to happen in Germany, not Russia. So you can't really blame Marx for how his ideas were implemented

Perhaps he liked the bawdey song called "The Ball of Kirriemuir" and possibly claiming he was born there gave him the opportunity of singing it as often as he wanted! Its quite a famous rude song BTW, and I wouldn't dare repeating any of the lyrics here!
