I think that middle-class fraud doesn't count as a criminal offence - I mean it was all accidental, wasn't it?

Hey guys, I just lurve these phone voting progs, they're fabulous. I spend between £35-£50 a week voting for my idols on such shows as Big Bro, X Factor and Britain's Got Talent. My mobile phone bill is massive towards the end of the month but who cares? I'm also quite partial to these late-night, phone quizzes on ITV & Ch5 that offer the chance to win upto £25k; oh the splendor!

Such, such pleasure to be had by all if only you'd pick your phones up and get dialling before lines close at midnight.

*Yes, I jest.

Default Tv Companies Have Been Ripping Us Off For Years.

This week we have seen record fines against the tv companies for fixing the voting. But let me tell you that I reported Channel 4 racing to OFTEL over 10 years ago as I used to enjoy the saturday racing on 4.They used to run a name the horse through a cartoon caption. One afternoon I missed the part where they announced the result.Thinking I still had time I phoned my answer through.Later I learned I had phoned after the result. I then phoned the number on the saturday evening and sunday/monday.I wrote to OFTEL to complain that when a winner is picked that the phone lines should be switched off at the same time.It makes sense doesnt it.Well the answer was no and OFTEL were crap then as they are today. The phones are still not switched off and they are still taking money even today. The only way to beat them is stop voting as it is all a total rip off to take our hard earned cash.Dont people understand that somewhere in this world others are dying of starvation and we are being taken for money to feed the so called celeb business where its been proved you only have to be the golden boys without talent and you can still win awards. How many other fiddles will people take before they realise that if you dont vote they dont earn.Power to the people.

Do you think phone votes should be banned?
Call 09127 234 to vote YES
Call 09127 235 to vote NO
Call 09127 236 if you don't care either way but just want to help us make some easy money.

* All calls will be charged at £28 per second and we'll keep you on the line for at least 5 minutes by reading out lots of meaningless instructions and by pretending to not have registered your vote the first time.

* The results of this vote will be available for the public to view at our registered office in the Bahamas and we promise not to make you vote public. We also promise to totally ignore the results of this vote but to continue running this sort of vote whatever the results are

* We guarantee that by calling this vote line your number will be sold on to lots of other equally shady companies that will then call you all the time trying to sell you things you don't really need
