Step lightly when using the "we" earlb. The Holocaust, Bosnia, Darfur and many other attrocities were carried out by humans and they will no doubt commit many more. Hopefully not on the same scale. But you have no right to include the entire population of the planet in a summary of past, present and future perpetraitors. A lot of good people gave their lives in opposing such despicable behaviour. Humans can be as awful as any of us can imagine, they can also be more wonderful, than many of us could have ever imagined. Why these horrors happen and what we can do to prevent them happening again, regardless of scale - these are the questions we must learn to answer (if we can). Not how to avenge them - that road will solve nothing. By then it's alreday too late ! Thousands of years of fear and intimidation have done little to prevent horrible things from happening. We must learn and progress, revenge moves nothing forward.
