A great afternoon at Sheringham today. Lots of messing around on the beach with a picnic followed by nice drive through the Norfolk countryside to get home. Marvellous!

A nice bit of idling in the garden and a trip to the park later is on today's agenda.

I know Claxton Manor .... I nearly bought a house in Claxton before buying my current house (drainage problems). The manor is gorgeous and so is the village. It is quite 'arty' around there .... Julie Peasgood lives in the next village and Claxton is the home of the excellent non-professional Claxton Opera. A bloke who lives in the village runs the company and has converted the back of his very large house into an open air theatre.

Here's the details from the estate agent ....

While in Sheringham yesteday I noticed that Nicky Henson is directing a play at The Little Theatre in a few weeks.

Sheringham Little Theatre.

Now HE is cute!
He once said "Goodbye" to me in a cafe near Waterloo - about 30 years ago; he was dressed in full motorcycle leathers too....
It was such a pity that he was accompanied by the absolutely stunning Susan Hampshire with whom he was living at the time.....and I was about 8 months pregnant and with my husband.
Wrong time, wrong place................(just let me dream, OK?)

Oh dear me. As you can see from my mood icon I feel sick. I was OK yesterday, but when I woke up this morning I felt really bad - headache, coughing and tummy rumbling. I've taken some medicine and feel a tiny bit better. Fortunately I'm on holiday from work this week so I don't have to get up at my usual early time in the morning.

Ah, had no idea Linda was a Gay icon!.........I guess it's from her Avengers role?

I don't watch Emmerdale these days but when I realised it was Linda playing one of the characters from within the past year I didn't recognise her one little bit!

As the Dame said it's Linda Thorson, in this incarnation ...

... Mrs Bat is pretty good at handling weapons.

Today was spent at a nice wooded area where TBW and I spent a couple of hours splashing around in the river, followed by me and a couple of sexy girlie colleagues stuffing our faces with chinese food. Yum!

I'm feeling a bit better today. I've only been out of bed for about 30 minutes.

Good. Shame you had to endure that during your annual leave.

I hope that's it now
