I'm building a web site at the moment and have spent all bleedin' day trying to sort out a stupid formatting problem that has no rhyme nor reason. I'm just a good amateur at this, so haven't got the necessary geek level of knowledge.

And what's all this about me having me leg off?

Watched the Entity last night, but missed the ending as my eyes were closing, but had to run up to the loo at the break and ran back in, was a bit scary.

Just spent a couple of hours doing my window boxes on the balcony and sorting my little courtyard. Love pottering with the plants. Miss having a garden but at least I've got a little inner-city space I can plant up

Woke up this morning at 8.30 to the deafening sound of 20 concrete drills going at full pelt on a major office building site outside my back window. Construction and demolition has been going on there for two weeks now with incredible noise day in and day out, one of the joys of living in central London. But wait a minute, this is Sunday Im thinking to myself! I phone the help line at the council to be told that the builders are not allowed to be there working on a Sunday, armed with this information I stomp around there to the site in Stratton Street ready for war. The site manager is very helpful and polite and seeing my despair at the prospect of having my Sunday shattered calls a halt to the racket straight away....ah peace at last!
Now that I can hear myself think, a tidy up of my office in my house is long overdue, so better get cracking with that, then on with the marigolds to clean my bathroom and kitchen, my brother and his girlfriend are arriving from Scotland this evening for a few days so better make an effort to prepare for their arrival.

I had a late night, but was back at work this morning for 9.00. Came home, had a bacon sandwich and went out in the back garden to feed the birds - getting close to nature is so relaxing. I boiled some pasta the other week and gave that to them,as well as some rice. The food does invite alsorts of our feathered friends with scenes resembling a blitzgrieg attack, and I swear seagulls are getting bigger.

They often complain about the lack of sauce and parmesan cheese. Yes,they do like pasta and rice, but make sure they are cooked. Even bread has to be moistned before it is thrown out. They also like porridge oats with raisins. I've got two bird baths for them. You know I spoil the wee bairns.
