Further to the saga of the rice pudding. I have used clotted cream. It will be out in an hour.
I fear the worst.

Oh great stuff!
I think there is a shop in Covent Garden that sells it too isn't there? Sweets that are no longer normally produced? I don't understand how they do that - but they do! I was there last week but my daughter wanted to go and look in sensible shops! She doesn't like sweets! (which is a good thing - of course.........sensible mummy..)

Rice pudding update: OK - but suffers from a lack of gold top. Must seek out.

does anybody remember those sweets that were a candy skeletal parts in a plastic coffin-'boneshakers' or something similar? available in the mid 1980's

Does anyone remeber the round tins of Gibbs toothpaste? It was a proper paste not powder and came in different coloured tins to denote flavour. There was Cherry. Banana etc. Damnded if I can remember what the blue one was though.
