When you think of players like Djokovic who is younger than Murray and already winning major tournaments, then you soon realise AM is unlikely to really compete consistently.
Getting rid of Coaches, like he does, smacks of it always being someone else's fault not his own. Sounds like another well known Scot out of his depth.

Don't suppose it would occur to you that Scots people might feel offended by that comment!! Andy Murray is 21 years old and I think he is ranked no 10 in the world at the moment. Didn't Murray win the Australian Open in 2007? I think he has won four major titles at least and has defeated world no 1 Roger Fedderer twice. I think thats not bad considering 2007 saw him struggling with a wrist and knee injury. I think you are being a little unfair by saying he is "another well known Scot out of his depth" Maybe he should just scurry back to Dunblane and let the posh English boys show him how its done! I think he is a young British Tennis player at the beginning of his career who is showing a lot of potential and promise. Tim Henmann was 24 when he reached his first Wimbledon semi final, why write off Murray at this stage in his career?
If the other well known Scot you might be alluding to is Gordon Brown, well yes...he is out of his depth and a bit of a fool but I don't think that is particular to being Scottish! I know one thing that Andy Murrray gets cheesed off and moody about, and thats constantly being refered to as English rather than British or Scottish!
But to get back to the original question, is he a misereable git? It would seem that he is very serious and deadpan and like most 21 year old young men possibly a little arrogant. Bjon Borg was known as the Ice Berg because he was so cold an emotionless and McEnroe was denied membership of Queens Club because of his on court antics. I think tennis lost those kinds of personalities a long time ago and Murray is part of the new generation of emotionless deadpan machine like tennis players. I used to love watching Wimbledon but haven't bothered for years, I don't find it exciting as it was in the heady days of Connors and Agasi and others. I think in modern tennis there is no time for personality or emotion and thats a shame I think. So..aye he seems a bit of a misereable git but he's a good tennis player!
